We Can’t Allow Labour Party Candidate,Handover Lagos To Igbos – Fani-Kayode

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said his party APC will not allow the Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour to hand over the state to Igbos.

Kayode said this in a post on his official Twitter handle in Monday

In the post, Kayode questioned the attitudinal character and personality of the Labour Party governorship candidate Rhodes Vivour insisting that the Labour Party candidate is not aware of the sufferings of Igbos in Lagos.

The Statement Reads;

“I have respect for the Rhodes-Vivour family, one of the oldest and most distinguished indegenous families of Lagos state, but what their son Gbadebo, the Labour Party Governorship candidate for Lagos state, has turned into is embarrassing.

“How can such a well brought up and distinguished young man be one of those that joined the mob to burn buses during the Endsars riots?

“How can he be one of those that turns his back on his own Yoruba people, hero worship secessionists like Emeka Odumgwu Ojukwu and conspire to hand over Lagos to the Igbo. Can any Igbo man do that for a Yoruba in the East?

“Is he aware of what the Yoruba were subjected to in parts of the east during the just concluded presidential election?

“Does he know the number of Igbos that were killed, tortured and whose homes were burnt in the east simply because they dared to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Yoruba man?

“I love the Igbo and I believe in a plural society which welcomes all ethnic nationalities and creeds but to hand Lagos over to them as a way of compensating them for their past woes is absurd.

“That would be absurd and suicidal and we will NEVER allow it to see the light of day.

“What happened to this otherwise brilliant and cerebal young man called Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour?

“What has got into him? Is he possessed?Is he in need of prayer and deliverance?I am genuinely worried that he is no longer in control of his senses.

“How can such a distinguished and well brought up individual end up in the ranks of a divisive, dubious and fascistic gang of ethnic jingoists and religious bigots like the Obidients?

“Since when did men and women of substance and class end up joining forces with a rabble of common rascals, plebian horde and peasant army whose leader and presidential candidate is nothing more than a lying snake and shady trader and whose Vice Presidential candidate is a Mauritanian refugee?

It is a pity.

“Needless to say Jide Sanwolu will thrash both him and the motor park tout and agbero called Jandor in the Lagos state Governorship election on Saturday.
