We Can Only Accept Peter Obi Deputising Kwankwaso-NNPP

The New Nigerian People’s Party NNPP has made it clear that the only acceptable thing for them in the ongoing negotiation of possible merger between Labour party and NNPP is Peter Obi accepting to deputise their presidential candidate Kwankwaso.

This was said by the national secretary of NNPP Mayor Agbo on Tuesday when he appeared on Arise TV where he was asked why the party’s Presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, can’t agree to be Peter Obi’s running mate.

Agbo said many people have been calling the leadership of the party and have expressed their disapproval of the suggestion that Kwankwaso becomes Obi’s running mate.

As talks for a possible merge continues, Agbo said the only thing acceptable to the party is for Obi to be Kwankwaso’s deputy.

Meanwhile Peter Obi And Labour Party are yet to reply to this comment made the NNPP
