We Are Ready For Soyinka’s Debate – Obi-Datti Movement

The Labour Party, LP’s “Obidients,” as the party’s vice presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed is nicknamed, are prepared for the TV debate challenge issued by Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka, according to the Obi-Datti Movement.

Prof. Chris Nwakobia, the Obi-Datti Movement’s spokesperson, revealed this in an interview that aired on Arise TV on Saturday.

Recall that Soyinka has initially challenged Datti Baba Ahmed ,the Obidients to a debate on national television Channels Television.

Nwaokobia responded, “Oh certainly, Baba-Ahmed will and effectively so,” when asked if he would debate Soyinka. Even the least Obidient can engage that discussion and make significant contributions.

“I am familiar with Prof. Wole Soyinka, and I know he won’t participate in that discussion because history is rife with facts and numbers, he continued.

“If Soyinka dared to come out, he warned, Datti Baba-Ahmed or even the least of the Obidients would fight him.

Nwakobia claims that Soyinka refused to participate in the discussion because he believed the Nobel laureate, whom he referred to as his mentor, made a mistake by siding with the purported oppressors of the people.

The spokesperson for the Obi-Datti Movement further defended Datti Baba-claims Ahmed’s that swearing in Tinubu would be against the law if the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate had not received one-quarter of the vote in Abuja as required by the constitution.

Nwakobia, however, asserted that he doesn’t think Soyinka can engage in a discussion with any Obi-Datti Movement participant.

He said, “Do you know that some of us look up to him as our mentor because he recognises that the highest kind of legal respect is shown by disobeying an unjust law.

He entered a radio station with a gun around 1965 and forbade the announcement of Akintola as the election’s victor. I beg my egbon and the renowned laureate to oblige the young people who are stating that on the mandate given to Peter Obi to stand because history is such a magnificent spectacle.

“When those who engage in electoral theft stole their mandate with hot coal, they can’t close their hands because we’ll take it to court,” the speaker said.

He said the 2023 presidential election would “bless” the Prof. Maurice Iwu-conducted vote in 2007.
