Tragedy As Eight Confirmed Dead As Landslide Hit Southern Peru.

At least eight people have been confirmed dead and five more missing as landslide hit southern Peru.
According to a bureau for the country’s Ministry of Health in the mountainous town of Secocha, twenty more people were treated for minor injuries.
The Ministry of Health announced that it would send two brigades made up of doctors, nurses and mental health professionals to the area.
The Peruvian army has also deployed helicopters to the region, transporting humanitarian aid, drinking water and sandbags to the emergency site.
