Tinubu Among 100 Most Influential People,A Stain On Time Magazine- Malcolm Omirhobo

Popular controversial Nigerian Lawyer Malcolm Omirhobo has called the listing of the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu among 100 most influential people released by a UK based magazine TIME MAGAZINE on Thursday.

According to the Magazine, Tinubu who is the Nigeria’s President-elect, help Nigeria to return to democracy in 1999 after defeating military rule.

Reacting to the magazine’s publications which featured prominent people in different parts of the world, Mr Malcolm said that including the name of Tinubu among their most influential people is a stain on the company’s reputation.

According to him, the Time Magazine’s journalists comfortably sat in their homes and offices without carrying proper investigation before enlisting the names and most especially the one of Tinubu despite all the drug records against him.

In a post on his Facebook handle on Friday,he challenged the TIME MAGAZINE to tell the whole world how Tinubu fought the Military to bring democracy to Nigeria.

His Words”Bola Ahmed Tinubu making TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People List in the world in 2023 is a stain on the magazine’s reputation of close to a century as being the most authoritative and informative guide to what is happening in current affairs, politics, business, health, science and entertainment.

“Journalists of Time magazine sitting in their office in New York without carrying out proper investigation concluded that Tinubu helped. Nigeria to restore democracy in 1999 after fighting military rule. How?

“The magazine hastily and irresponsibly concluded that Tinubu won. the Nigerian 2023 presidential election that is subject matter of litigation for obvious electorial mal practices by All Progressives Congress, Tinubu’s political party and the Independent National Electoral Commission

“I challenge Times magazine to tell the whole world how Tinubu fought the Military to bring democracy to Nigeria.
