Tension As Wike Set To Announce His Presidential Candidate On Tuesday.

There has been a very high tension in the political arena of Nigeria,as the governor of Rivers State and leader of the G- 5 governor’s Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is set to announce his Presidential Candidate for the 2023 presidential election on Tuesday 31st January 2023.

Wike made this known during his speech in the PDP governorship Campaign of Siminalayi Fubara the governorship flag bearer of PDP in Etche local government area of Rivers State

According Wike,”Those who are accusing us of anti- party activities are the ones doing the anti- party activities, we don catch them now and I told them that anti-party begot anti-party.

” I promise them I will heat them back by tomorrow because anybody that thinks he can caused problems in Rivers State i will give him wound for him body.

Wike has been in a long battle with his party the People’s Democratic Party PDP including the Presidential candidate of PDP Atiku Abubarka from the refusal of the national chairman of the party Iyorcha Ayu to resign as the chairman of the party.

Wike and the 5 aggrieved governors of the party nicknamed G-5 governor’s have been meeting with different Presidential Candidate of some parties in the country ahead of the forthcoming presidential election.

There has been wide speculation as to who Wike will decide to choose as his preferred Presidential Candidate among the two parties APC and Labour Party.

It is yet to be seen if Wike will decide to pinch his tent and support the Candidate of APC Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu or that of the Labour party Mr Peter Obi on Tuesday as he makes his decision known to be public.
