A 33 years Ifeoma Ossai has reportedly killed her landlord Mr Monday Oladele after he alledgedly grabbed his manhood and squeezing it till he died.
Mrs Ifeoma Ossai was arrested following a report at Sango Ota divisional headquarters by Olaleye Taiwo, the victim’s brother.
According to Taiwo’s allegation to the police, after a confrontation between his brother, Oladele, and one of his tenants over an electrical bill, the tenant in question grabbed the victim’s manhood and dragged him along.
He claimed that the landlord collapsed and was taken to General Hospital, Ota, where he passed away.
Abimbola Oyeyemi, the police spokesman, stated on Tuesday that after receiving the information, Saleh Dahiru, the DPO for the Ota division, led his detectives to the site, where the suspect was quickly apprehended and brought into jail for further investigation.
“During questioning, the suspect said that the deceased asked her to pay the electricity bill, but the victim insisted that she would not pay the electricity or any other utility payment until water was immediately connected to her flat, as the landlord had promised before she moved in.
“This resulted in a fight between them, during which the suspect seized the deceased’s manhood and pulled him along.
“The doctor on duty declared the deceased dead after he slumped and was taken to the hospital.” Oyeyemi said.
According to him, the body had been brought to the hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba, has ordered the suspect’s immediate transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department’s Murder branch for additional investigation and assiduous prosecution.
