Suspending PDP Members Will Not Benefit You-Wike To Ayu.

The governor of River’s State Governor Nyesom Nwike has told the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Senator Iyorcha Ayu that suspending PDP members will never benefit him.

Wike said this after the PDP National Working Committee NWC,on Friday 20th January 2023 suspended seven members of the party among who is the former governor of Enugu state Chimaroke Nnamani and Chris Ogbu from Imo State as a result of anty-party activities.

The PDP’s National Working Committee,also dissolved Ekiti state PDP while Fayemi Fayose was suspended from the party.

Reacting to the development, Nyesom Wike who have been in a running battle with the PDP party chairman said that it will never benefit him anything if Ayu suspends all the members of the party.

“The only thing I have to say to Ayu and his team,is that dissolving Ekiti state exco, help you in any way.

“And suspending people anyhow in PDP will also not help you in any way.

“The battle line have been drawn,as I speak to you I want to assure you that we will do everything legally possible to challenge any decisions that we know that is illegal.So you don’t think you can threaten people by suspending them, that is rubbish.

“So we are above that level now that you think you can intimidate anybody by whatever illegal decision you have taken.

“Because we believe in the rule of law we equally believe that our party should respect their constitution and do what is right.

“We are waiting for you to suspend me or any of my friends because when a man says I will not sleep himself will not sleep.

“So don’t worry we have the capacity to tell you that enough is enough because we will vote for people who loves River’s State and who means well for our people.He said
