Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State on Wednesday, donated a sum N100 million to traders whose goods were burnt at Akere Spare Parts Market, Ajegunle in the Apapa area of the state.

Goods worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident that occurred at the market on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.Sanwo-Olu also kicked off the foundation for the renovation of the market.

Dignitaries present at the cheque presentation includes;

APC House of Reps-elect, Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency,

Hon. Paul Kalejaiye;

Market EXCO, Mr. Nwakeoma Okey;

Hon. Fatai Ayoola; Chairman of Akere Auto Spare Part Market,

Mr. Izuchukwu Uba

And the council Vice-Chairman, Hon. Lucky Uduikhue

The Ajegunle auto spare parts was burnt down by fire on March 8 where shops, buildings and goods worth millions of naira was destroyed by the inferno.
