Rivers State PDP Accuses Wike Of Desperation Over Attack On Atiku/ Okowa PCC Director.

The Rivers State PDP presidential campaign council has accused the governor of the state Nyesom Wike of being desperate after the director general of Atiku/ Okowa campaign council escaped an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen on Thursday.

This is coming after Dr Abiye Sekibo the director general of Atiku/Okowa campaign council was allegedly attacked by security agencies alleged to have been sent by the governor of Rivers State.

In a press statement released by the Presidential Campaign Council of Atiku/Okowa they likened Wike to the idi amin of Uganda,who thinks he has the monopoly of power to do whatever he wants without being questioned.

According to them, the action of Wike especially on the PCC,is a disdain on the hard earned democracy in Rivers State.

The Rivers State PDP ,called on the inspector general of police, the national security adviser, the attorney general of the federation, other security agencies, and the general public to hold Gov wike responsible for any break down of law and order in the state as he has failed to protect Rivers citizens.

ATTACK ON DR ABIYE SEKIBO, A SIGN OF DESPERATION….

It is no longer news that the Rivers State Government led by H.E, Nyesom wike has turned the state into a theater of war over his selfish and inordinate desire,

This is not the first time prominent Rivers sons are made to go through the waters just because they have adivergent views from that of Gov. Wike.

Gov wike is liken to the idi amin of Uganda, this is a disdain on our hard earned democracy,
This display of insanity and unsual thirst for power and use of force should be condemn by every right thinking human being.

It is most disturbing that Gov. Wike rose on the benevolence and vastness of the people which he can’t wait to cast into the lagoon

He has tried all means to exasperate the AtikuOkowa Presidential Campaign Council both in the state and national, we see this as a last kick of a dying horse.

The PCC Rivers State wishes to use this medium to call on the inspector general of police, the national security adviser, the attorney general of the federation, other security agencies, and the general public to hold Gov wike responsible for any break down of law and order in the state as he has failed to protect Rivers citizens…

One thing is certain, power is transient, and Atiku Abubakar will come to Port Harcourt and campaign to Rivers people, no level of intimidation can deter us as a people.
