Rivers APC Suspends Their State Chairman And Legal Adviser Indefinitely.

The State Working Committee of APC,Rivers State Chapter,has suspended the State Party Chairman Chief Emeka Bekee and the State legal adviser of the Party Mr Azubike Dike from the party with immediate effect.

This was contained in a communique issued by some stakeholders of the Party including the acting Chairman of the Party Mr Omete Eferelo Sir Chike.E on Thursday.

According to the statement, the move is inline with the ruling of Rivers State High Court which barred the individuals from parading themselves as the chairman and legal adviser of the Party respectively.

The Statement Reads;

We the executive members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers State Chapter wish to reiterate to the general public today the 13th of April 2023 the suspension of the former chairman, Chief Emeka Beke and the legal adviser, Mr Iheanyichukwu Azubuike Dike respectively.

You will recall that their suspension was made known to the public on the 4th of April 2023. As law-abiding citizens, the entire executive approached the court to validate their suspension pending ratification by the National Executive Committee.

Gentlemen and ladies, the Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, presided over by Honourable Justice Dakakima G. Kio, PhD has graciously granted our prayers, hence, restraining Chief Emeka Beke and Mr theanyichukwu Azubuike Dike from acting or parading themselves respectively as chairman and legal adviser of All Progressive Congress, (APC) Rivers State Chapter.

Consequent upon this we notify the public to desist from transacting or dealing with them in that capacity. Whosoever transacts or deals with them do so, in his or her own peril.

The acting Chairman and the entire members of the state executive committee wish to use this medium to advise all Chairmen and leaders of various strata (Local Government Area, Wards and Units) to desist forthwith from all forms of abuse of office capable of generating rancour in the party.
