Reno Omokri Apologies To Peter Obi,Says Call For His Arrest An Insult To Ndigbo

A former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan and a supporter of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Reno Omokri has apologised to the Presidential candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi over his attacks on him and his person at the cause of the presidential election.
Reno Omokri further stated that the petition writing by Festus Keyamo to DSS calling for the arrest Peter Obi is an insult to the south east region.
Reno Omokri said this in a post on his verified Facebook handle on Saturday 25th March 2023.
According to Omokri,Nnamdi Kanu and Peter Obi are the most popular Igbo men on planet Earth right now, adding that any attempt to also arrest Peter Obi even when Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention will amount to a deliberate provocation of the Igbos.
He further stated that if by any means President Buhari,Bola Tinubu or even the DSS listens to the call by Festus Keyamo, that Ndigbo will be uniting themselves behind Peter Obi adding that Nigerian government will not like the outcome of it.

“Already, the Southeast feels left out in cold, and completely shut out of the power dynamic in Nigeria, with the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, despite a court judgment ordering his release. And now, Festus Keyamo wants to add insult to injury by calling for Peter Obi’s arrest? Is Nigeria deliberately provoking the Igbos or what?
“Nnamdi Kanu and Peter Obi are the most popular Igbo men on planet Earth. And Peter Obi happens to be massively popular beyond the Southeast. With Kanu in detention, the Southeast is under pressure, with one full day being lost to commercial activities every week.
“And now, Keyamo wants Peter Obi in jail? If either General Buhari or Bola Tinubu tries it, they may end up uniting Southern Nigeria behind Peter Obi, and they do not want that at all. In fact, very, very at all as the late Fela Kuti would say.
