Reduction Of Labour Party Governoship Form Price Commendable – Peter Obi

The Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi has commended the leadership of Labour Party especially the chairman of the Party Hon Julius Abure for listening to the crying of the people and reducing the amount to purchase the governoship ticket of the party.

Recall that the Labour Party had set the price of their governoship ticket form at N25million which has not gone well with the people.

According to the crying of the people, the high amount of money placed on the Party’s governoship form, will chase away credible leaders who may not have that amount of money to purchase the governoship form of the party thereby paving way for politicians with money bags who do not have credibility to buy up those forms.

After the compliant of the people, the National chairman of Labour Party during a meeting with stakeholders of the party reviewed price downward to N15million as against the N25million initial price.

Reacting to the price reduction, Peter Obi in a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, commended the chairman of the Party, for his swift response to the matter.
