The President Candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi has reacted to the sudden death of a Labour Party governoship aspirants in Imo State Chief Humphrey Anumudu who died on Saturday 25th March 2023.
Humphrey Anumudu was among the 14 listed governoship aspirants of Labour Party in Imo State before his death.
He reportedly died after returning from a meeting with the Labour Party Presidential candidate, and other Imo governoship aspirants of Labour Party at the Party’s National secretariat in Abuja on Friday.
Reacting today news of his death when he paid a condolence visit to the diseased family, Peter Obi described Humphrey Anumudu as a very warm and forthright person, describing his death as a big lose to Imo State and Nigeria at large.
“Today, I paid a condolence visit to the family of a dear friend, and political colleague, Mr Humphrey Anumudu, whom I was deeply saddened by the news of his sudden death. Mr Anumudu is one of the strongest suppo vrters of the Labour Party in Imo state,and an aspirant in the forthcoming Imo State governorship election.
“He was a very warm, and forthright person. His death is a huge loss to his immediate and extended family, the Labour Party, the good people of Imo State, and to Nigeria.
“May God Almighty, who called him home at this time grant him eternal rest in His kingdom, and grant his family the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss. My sincere condolence to his family, and may God Almighty bless his family always. -PO
