Peter Obi the Presidential candidate of Labour Party has congratulated the former president of Nigeria,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on his 65th birthday celebration.

Peter Obi in a post on his official Facebook page described the former Nigerian president,as a leader who sacrificed his political ambition for peace and progress of Nigeria.

“On behalf of my family and the whole OBIdient movement, I celebrate my very dear elder brother, His Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, as he marks his 65th birthday today. A man of peace, nobility and honour; GEJonathan remains a great blessing to our nation.

“A true leader, GEJ gave up his personal political ambition for the sake of national peace and progress. As a patriot, he remains committed to the unity and development of Nigeria.
