Naira Redesign Waste Of Money -LP VP Blast FG.
The Vice Presidential Candidate of Labour Party,Ahmed Yusuf Datti has blasted the federal government of Nigeria on the redesigning of the country’s naira notes describing it a waste of money.
Recall that president Muhammadu Buhari and governor of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN) at the federal executive council meeting on Wednesday,in Abuja unveiled the new redesigned naira notes.
The action which has so far,attracted wide criticism from Nigerians,with some tagging it repainting of the old ones.
Reacting, the vice presidential candidate of Labour Party Yusuf Datti Ahmed said that the result of the design is not what Nigerians expected.
He also questioned why federal government of Nigeria has to spend the huge amount of money redesigning naira notes while the Academic Staffs Union of Universities are still crying over their unpaid salaries.

“The plans to redesign our currency is really a good idea but the result we’ve seen so far does not worth it.
“Why spending over 200b naira(reports channels TV) to repaint our currency.
“Why not use it to settle the issue of Asuu.
