Malcolm Nuna deserves to win the VGMA best new artiste of the year and this is why

The Vodafone Ghana music awards which is the mother of all award schemes in Ghana .On the 18th of March 2023 ,Charter house who is in charge of the VGMA unveiled the official nominees for the 24th edition of the award scheme which featured Malcolm Nuna.

Fortunately,Malcolm Nuna was part of the list of the artistes who had opportunity to be nominated. Malcolm Nunana Hehetror whose stage name is Malcolm Nuna came through the music limelight in 2020.The singer became popular in the industry and some part of the country after the release of his debut Album titled Hastalavista.

Nevertheless ,his hardworking and melodic ability on the album got some tracks on it viral.Following his hardworking he released couple of singles after the album which included some great collaborations.Some of these collaborations include his single song titled “Talk Talk” which featured Black sherrif,Yaw Tog,Kweku Flick,Kofi jamar and “Money man” remix featuring Kuami Eugene.

In early 2022 Malcolm Nuna had his biggest official breakthrough after he released a banging hip hop song titled Benzo.Benzo became one of the most popular son in the country and also topped charts,it at some point in time became most shazamed song in Ghana.

The great news here now is that Malcolm Nuna’s Benzo has now been nominated as the best him hop song of the year,Among that category are artistes like Sarkodie,Black Sherrif ,Amerado,Kwesi Arthur and Medikal.

Furthermore,since its his biggest breakthrough he also had a nomination in the best new artiste of the year category.Among that category are other new artistes like Lasmid,Djay,Jay Bhad,DJ Azonto,Chief one and Ewura Abena.

Why He must win the best new artiste.

All the other artistes on the category has worked harder and also deserves to win but compared to Malcolm Nuna,i ,might say has worked harder than them.

He played a lot of shows both locally and internationally and also released couples of singles after his benzo trend.

Recently after the release of the nominations one popular Ghanaian Content creator and a Youtuber has also expressed his intrerest in Malcom Nuna winning the VGMA best new artiste of the year.

In a recent reaction video made by the Youtuber about the New artise of the year category he stated “The top four which are Lasmid , DJay ,Malcolm Nuna , Jay Bhad are the main contenders” im not disrespecting any artistes tho. He then stated Malcolm Nuna is winning this bro.I saw him performing his Benzo song and i was like what? Is this my boy?

This has drawn the attention of many to the conclusion that Malcolm Nuna really deserves to to the best New artiste of the year at this year’s VGMA.
