Labour Party’s Alex Otti Declared Winner Of Abia Governoship Election
The governoship candidate of Labour Party Alexander.C Otti has been declared winner of the March 18 governoship election of Abia.
The final collation and announcement of results was done in Abuja following the violence that erupted in Obingwa local government where ballot papers was snatched by political thugs who invaded the venue of the collation center.

At the resumption of the final collation of the remaining two local government, INEC declared the governoship candidate of Labour Party winner of the election.
The Result was declared By Prof Nnenna Oti
Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Owerri .
In her final results, Professor Nnenna Oti announced that Alex Otto of Labour Party polled a total of 175,467 to defeat his closest rival of the PDP who got 88,529 votes.
