Just In :President Buhari Sacks NIPC Boss Saratu Umar
President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of Hajiya Saratu Umar as the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), with immediate effect.
This was confirmed in a statement released by Media and Publicity Secretary to President Buhari Femi Adesina on Thursday.

In a directive given to the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Richard Adeniyi Adebayo CON, the President also mandated the most senior Director in the Commission to immediately take over in the interim.
This is the second time Mrs Hajiya Saratu Umar has been sacked as NIPC boss after she was initially sacked in 2014 under former president Goodluck Jonathan.
She was later reappointment by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022.
