The director general of the Labour Party’s Presidential campaign council Doyin Okupe has stepped down from his position.
This is coming after the federal high court in Abuja convicted him of 26 count charges including money laundering profiled against him by the economic financial crime commission EFCC.and was made to pay fine of N13million or risk a two years Jail term.
Following the recent calls by the All Progressive Congress APC his resignation,Okupe finally tendered his resignation letter on Tuesday.
In his resignation letter,Okupe charged the his Party to immediately appoint a new campaign FG who will continue the assignment without distraction.
