INEC Sack Resident Electoral Commissioner Of Adamawa State Hudu Yunusa-Ari.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has sacks the Resident Electoral Commission REC Of Adamawa State Hudu Yunusa-Ari following his action on the Adamawa state governoship election supplementary election.
The Adamawa Resident Electoral Commissioner Hudu had on Sunday, declared the governoship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC Aisha Binani winner of the election while collation of results are still ongoing.
The election which has condemned and declared unconstitutional by the PDP and other parties in the country,saw INEC suspending the collation of results in the State until investigation has been concluded.
Also Hudu Yunusa-Ari was orderd to step outside of the Adamawa Resident Electoral Commission with immediate effect.
According to statement released by INEC National Commissioner of Information and Voter Education Festus Keyamo on Monday, said that the action of Hudu Yunusa-Ari was not incompliance with the rule of engagement.

STATUS OF THE RESIDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER FOR ADAMAWA STATE
Following his purported declaration of the result for the Adamawa State Governorship election yesterday Sunday 16th April 2023, the Commission has withdrawn its delegated powers from Bart. Hudu Yunusa Ari mni as the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the State. Accordingly, he has been directed to stay away from the Commission’s office in Adamawa State forthwith.
Meanwhile, the Administrative Secretary has been directed to take over the affairs of the State office until further notice.
