INEC Chairman Rejects Demand By Parties to Suspend Collation Of Presidential Results

INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, has rejected petitions by multiple party agents to suspend the collation of results for 24 hours until they’re viewable on the online platform, IREV.
The INEC chairman after listening to the arguments of some of the aggrieved party agents, demised the complaints of the the party agents to proceed with the collation and announcement of the presidential election results.
The collation is about to resume with Ogun State’s presidential election result.

Meanwhile, information reaching DAILYNEWSLINK has it that after the INEC chairman decided to continue with the collation of the presidential election results, some political party agents staged a walkout protest.
According to what we gathered,the political parties that staged a walkout from the collation center are about 10 political parties including PDP,AA,LP,APGA and others.
