INEC Chairman Meets Peter Obi’s Legal Team, Assures Them Full Cooperation.
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on Monday 13th March 2023 met with the legal team of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi.
The Labour Party legal team arrived Abuja the National headquarters of INEC and was granted access to inspect February 25 presidential election materials as was directed by Appeal Court.
In the meeting,the INEC boss assured the Labour Party’s Legal Team that the Commission will provide all the documents it requested for to prosecute its case.

He said: “INEC has nothing to hide. Documents available at the HQ will be given immediately.
“We are meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners today and we will discuss how other documents at the state level could also be made available to you speedily.
The Labour Party’s Legal Team was at the INEC HQ to discuss modalities for obtaining the documents.
