The Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State has expressed its sympathies to the Ihedioha family of Aro-Mbutu in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the State over the death of their mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha.
Late Dame Dorothy is the mother of a former Governor of the State and illustrious member of the PDP, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha who died in April at the of aged 90.
In a lucid delivery on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, when the party’s State Working Committee (SWC) paid a condolence visit to the family, the State Chairman, Chief Charles Ugwuh, urged Ihedioha to draw encouragement from the fact that his late mother was a virtuous and successful woman.
He said that it is worth celebrating that she lived so long to see his son become so famous and important, not just in Imo State, but across the entire nation.
The Chairman assured Ihedioha that the party is with him in this challenging period.
Also in the delegation was the State Deputy Chairman; Chief Martin Ejiogu, the State Secretary, Nze Ray Emeana; the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Collins Opurozor; the Organizing Secretary, Nze Law Biaduo; the Youth Leader, Greg Nwadike, and other members of the State Working Committee.
