The Acting National Publicity Secretary Of Labour Party Obiora Ifoh has urged all the Labour Party supporters to disregard the trending reports on social media that Court has Sacked Julius Abure and affirms Lamidi Apapa as the authentic Labour Party National Chairman.
Ifoh described the news as fake news that only existed in the imagination of Lamidi Apapa’s led faction which he said can’t never come to reality.
According to him, Barrister Julius Abure remains Labour Party National Chairman, adding that there has not been in time he was sacked or suspended.
Recall that it was widely reported in the social media which DAILYNEWSLINK equally reported that the federal high court in Abuja has sacked Julius Abure and affirms Lamidi Apapa as the authentic Labour Party National Chairman.
In his reaction when called upon ,Ifoh in a statement narrated that the federal high court didn’t not make such pronouncement today as the case was adjourned to May 19th for the proper hearing.
The Statement Reads;
Dear Esteemed Stakeholders,
Ignore the fake news by Apapa group, Abure still national chairman.
The FCT State High Court under his Lordship, Justice Hamza Muazu today said he will go ahead to hear the motion by the group loyal to the suspended Deputy National Chairman, Lamidi Apapa against some of our leaders including the National Chairman, Julius Abure and three others.
In his Lordship ruling, he said that he will go ahead to hear the substantive matter. As to this, the matter was adjourned to Friday, May 19 for the start of the case proper and for further deliberations.
Today’s sitting is not for judgement as no judgement was given by the court as Apapa’s group is peddling in their usual way of misinforming Nigerians.
Meanwhile, Barrister Julius Abure remains the National Chairman of the Party pending the final determination of the matter.
