Hope Uzodimma Congratulates Iwuanyanwu On His Adoption As President Of Ohanaze Ndigbo.

The governor of Imo State Hope Uzodimma has congratulated Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu ( Aha eji eje Mba) following his adoption as the new president of the Igbo Apex Socio- Cultural group Ohanaze Ndigbo.

Recall that Ohanaze Ndigbo has been without a President, after the death of former president of Ohanaze Ndigbo professor George Obiozor who died in 2022.

In the meeting of Imo council of elders on Wednesday April 19 Iwuanyanwu was unanimously adopted to replace professor George Obiozor after the Ohanaze Ndigbo world-wide has agreed to zone leadership to Imo State to complete the tenure of late Obiozor.

Reacting today adoption of Iwuanyanwu, governor Hope Uzodimma while speaking at the government House described Iwuanyanwu as an icon who has been representating the Igbo region both home and abroad.

Uzodinma praised Chief Iwuanyanwu for his selfless service to Imo State, the Igbo race and the entire nation Nigeria.

“The unanimous adoption of Chief Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR (Aha Eji Eje Mba Ndi Igbo), by the Imo State Council of Elders and other notable Igbo Leaders, for the President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, is a welcome development.

“Chief Iwuanyanwu has been rendering selfless service to Imo State, the Igbo race and the nation at large, for decades and I am not surprised that this historic adoption is coming but then, I commend him for accepting to serve the Igbos and the nation, once more.

“I reassured that every necessary support to actualise this aspiration of Ndi Igbo, shall be provided by the State Government. This is done in good faith as we are keen for a safer and productive Igbo nation and Nigeria at large.
