In a surprising revelation, former Guinness World Record breaker, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has disclosed her preference for a spouse who can’t cook.

In a podcast interview with Cocktails And Takeaways that gained traction on Thursday, Baci expressed her desire for a partner who would always order food for her, citing it as a gesture that strengthens her affection.

During the interview, Baci stated, “I don’t want a man that knows how to cook. I don’t want it.

I like cooking so much. My friends would tell you that Hilda would show you love, she would send you food. She will cook for you. That’s kind of one of the things I like to do for people that I care about, especially for my man.”

Highlighting her culinary passion, she added, “You can wake me up in the middle of the night and say, ‘Babe, I want a doughnut. I want meat pie.’ And I’m flying to the kitchen to make it for you. That’s my thing. I want a man that can order me food. If you don’t have a problem with ordering me food, I’m in love.”

Hilda Baci, an Akwa Ibom state indigene, achieved international recognition earlier this year by breaking the world record for the longest cooking marathon, lasting an impressive 93 hours and 11 minutes.

However, she subsequently lost the title to Alan Fosher, an Irish chef, who set a record of 119 hours and 57 minutes at his Irish-themed restaurant in Matsue.

Despite her culinary prowess, Baci’s romantic inclination leans toward a partner who appreciates her love for cooking by opting to order food instead.
