Henry Nwawuba Steps Down For Akarachi Amadi Ahead Of Mbaike House Of Reps Re-run Election.

The members representating Mbaitol and Ikeduru federal constituency and the candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA RT Hon Henry Nwawuba has withdrawn his participation in the re-run election on Saturday 15th April 2023.

Recall that the House Of Reps election of Mbaike federal constituency election on February 25 general election was declared Inconclusive as there are many wards and polling units which election did not hold.

Henry Nwawuba confirmed his withdrawal from the election which was scheduled to hold on Saturday in a statement signed by his media aide Austin Ejeguru on Friday.

According to him, the decision was borne out of a careful study of the political and electoral metrics of rerun elections in MBAIKE and most importantly, his usual culture of putting the interest of MBAIKE first in all his political dealings.

He further stated that Akarachi is humble and learnable person expressing his confident that he will continue from where he will stop.

WITHDRAWAL FROM 15TH APRIL 2023 MBAIKE RERUN ELECTION AND ENDORSEMENT OF AKARACHI AMADI

In view of the inconclusion of the 25th February, 2023 Mbaitoli-Ikeduru Federal Constituency election, I wish to inform you that I have freely withdrawn from the rescheduled 15th April, 2023 rerun election to give my full support to Mr Akarachi Amadi, candidate of the All Progrssive Congress APC.

This decision was borne out of a careful study of the political and electoral metrics of rerun elections in MBAIKE and most importantly, my usual culture of putting the interest of MBAIKE first in all my political dealings.

It will benefit our federal constituency to have capacity replace capacity. As we file out to conclude the election tomorrow, I employ us to choose who will come to build on our good legacies and not who will come to demolish them.

Akarachi is humble and learnable. I am confident he will continue from where we will stop. MBAIKE must be rescued from plunging into darkness.
