Breaking;Kwankwaso May Accept To Be Peter Obi’s Vice~NNPP Spokesman

The national publicity secretary of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Agbo Major has given an update on the alliance talks between the party and the Labour Party (LP).

Agbo in an interview with Daily Trust, said talks are progressing smoothly and Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso or Peter Obi may accept to be each other’s running mate even though he doesn’t want to speculate.

He added “By the time we are done with the discussions, Nigerians will be happy, whichever way it turns out to be.”

There has been a series of meetings between the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) and The Labour Party concerning a possible merger between the two parties which is understood to be in a progress.

Though the time given by INEC to all political parties to submit their president and vice presidential candidate has closed, Labour Party submitted the the of of Dr Doyin Okupe as the party’s vice presidential candidate on the standby basis.

According Okupe in an interview on channels television said that the party will choose a vice presidential candidate that will substitute him once the Presidential of the Party Peter Obi returns from his trip to Egypt and all the problems in the party are resolved.

Moreso, in a post on Kwankwaso Twitter handle on Sunday,he said that the possibility of merger between the two parties is very much possible and the vice presidential candidate will be determined by the senior between him and Peter Obi.
