A weeeek after the presidential election, and the controversies surrounding it, following the announcement of the presidential candidate of APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the President-elect by INEC, there have been questions surrounding the process by which the results was collated and announced.
INEC had promised Nigerians that the election results will be transmitted from polling to the INEC IREV portal after voting, but after the election no results was uploaded to the INEC server which has raised questions about the credibility of the election.
According to INEC, Tinubu was declared winner of the presidential election after polling over 8million votes in 12 States across the country.
But the results of the election which has been uploaded in INEC IREV portal so far, shows that Peter Obi the presidential candidate of Labour Party won the election .
According to what has been uploaded to the INEC IREV portal, Labour Party won a total of 19 States including the Federal Capital Territory, while the People’s Democratic Party PDP won 8 States, and APC 7 States.
With this revelation, now it is yet to be seen what will be the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal as Peter Obi has already dragged INEC, APC to the tribunal for ruling.
