High Court Struck Out FG Charges On Nnamdi Kanu

The Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out the Federal government new charges on the leader of the indigenous peoples of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu.
Recall that the federal government of Nigeria had earlier filed and amended seven count charges against Kanu at the federal high Court on October 2022.
In her ruling,the presiding judge of the appeal Court,Justice Binata Nyako said that the High Court lacks the jurisdiction to entertain further charges against Nnamdi Kanu in view of the appeal Court judgement on October 13 the 2022.
The Appeal Court had on its ruling by a three man panel committee,on the 13th October Struck out the remaining seven count charges against Nnamdi Kanu thereby discharge and acquitting him of all charges.
Meanwhile,the matter was consequently adjourned sine die pending the outcome of the appeal at the Supreme Court.
