Breaking News; CBN Extends Old Naira Notes Deadline To A Week
Central Bank of Nigeria has announce 10-day extension of the deadline for the return of old naira notes.
Recall that the Central Bank has initially given 31st January as the deadline for the return of the old naira notes but was prevailed by crying of Nigerians who pleaded for the exercise to be extended.

In a release on Sunday 29th January 2023,by the governor of the central bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele ,he said that instead of January 31st initial date,the new deadline will now be 10 February 2023.
CBN boss, also give 7-day grace period from 10-17 February 2023 for Nigerians to deposit their old notes adding that after the February deadline,the old 1000, 500, 200 notes will no longer be a legal tender.
