Breaking, APP Withdraws Suit Against Tinubu.

The Action People’s Party has withdrawn its petition against the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, in the ongoing proceedings challenging his victory at the polls.
Counsel for the party, Obed Agu, made this known during Wednesday’s proceedings.

The respondents did not oppose the motion for withdrawal, but Tinubu’s lawyer Wole Olanipekun said he hoped other petitioners will do same by withdrawing their petitions.
In the brief ruling, Justice Tsammani, who is the presiding judge of the Presidential Election Petition Court, dismissed the suit.
This is the second petition against February’s presidential election to be withdrawn. On Monday, the court dismissed the petition of the Action Alliance after it applied to withdraw.
This leaves three petitions pending before the court filed by the Labour Party and Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and the PDP and the Allied Peoples Movement APM.
