  • Add Call To Action Button

If your audience takes away only one thing from reading your content, it should be a call to action.

These can be as simple as asking readers to comment, ask questions or share their opinions on something you have written.

Asking them to subscribe, follow you on social media or share a post is also a great way to get them coming back for more of your content in future.

Be clear about what you want your audience to do and give them plenty of options. Remember: every piece of content you publish has its own call to action;

Make sure it is clear and effective.

What makes for a good takeaway is pretty straightforward. The reader should walk away with new knowledge or ideas that can help them in their daily lives.

Ideally, it should be something they do not know before they read your post for example, if you are talking about how to open a bank account, provide information on why it’s important to have one (and what services you can access when you do) or explain how to choose an account that works best for your needs.
