Be Patient,We Mean Well For The Country – Oluremi Tinubu Tells Nigerians.

Nigeria’s first lady,Senator Oluremi Tinubu has said that the Administration of his husband President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu means well for the country urging Nigerians to be patient for them.

First lady said this when she received the wives of Service Chiefs under the umbrella of Defense and Police Wives Association DEPOWA at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Tuesday August 22nd 2023.

Speaking after the meeting,Mrs Tinubu assures Nigerians that there is light at the end of the tunnel as President Tinubu’s adminstration is doing everything possible to ameliorate the situation of the country.

“I received in my office today, the Wives of the Service Chiefs and Inspector General of Police under the umbrella body of Defence and Police Wives Association DEPOWA.

“We had robust discussions on the fact that the administration of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu means well for the country and is doing all possible to ameliorate the situation in the country.

“A greater Nigeria is loading as light is evident at the end of the tunnel.

Commending the the Service Chief wives for the visit, the First Lady said that Nigeria needs all the various types of the association, specially of women to enable them to reach out to women both in the barracks and other works of life.

“We will need your various Associations from time to time, at least to be able to reach out to women in your various barracks, to reassure them that we mean well for this country, and that they should be patient and that whatever we can do to ameliorate what the subsidy has meted to us, we believe there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

“It is a greater Nigeria we are looking out for and it is a legacy that our children and generations yet unborn, we would leave a Nigeria we can relate better as Nigerians and also look for the good of this nation and the wealth of this country can be greater enhanced.

Responding,the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff and President, Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs Oghogho Musa who led Wives of Service Chiefs to the visit, assured the first lady of the commitment of the various Armed Forces and Police Officers Wives Associations to partner with the Renewed Hope Initiative to make life meaningful for Nigerians especially Women and the girl child.
