APC Now Party Desperate To Hijack Power At All Cost – Rochas Okorocha

Former governor of Imo State and Senator representating Imo West Senatorial district Rochas Okorocha has said that the All Progressive Congress APC is no longer a political party rather has turned to a party that are desperate to hijack power at all costs.

Okorocha who is also the founding fathers of APC, said that the party which him and other well meaning Nigerians formed APC in 2014, for the goodwill of Nigerians has drifted from the foundation with which the party was laid.

According to him, those who sees themselves as the owner of the party has destroyed the APC and by extension destroyed Nigeria beyond repair.

Okorocha who as contested the APC Presidential primary election, stated this in his home town Ogboko in Orlu when speaking about the outcome of the February 25 presidential election and the matters arising.

His Words:

“The way and manner the leadership of APC is going for the past 5 years now is something that any well meaning Nigerian should be concerned about because the party APC is no longer what it used to be as of 2014 when we formed the Party.

“Those who see themselves as the Alfa and Omega has destroyed the party and by extension destroyed Nigeria beyond repair.

“What happened on the 25th of February, 2023, will any reasonable person call that an election? Definitely the answer is capital No. It was glaringly hijacked by some thugs and some bad persons in APC same way they hijacked our Presidential Primary election.

“Such victory can only last for a while and it will go back to the rightful owner. It’s just for a while. Nigerians knows whom they voted for and in due time, the truth must definitely come out.

“As for APC, I am now at one corner watching them and how they will end hence they’ve decided not to do the right thing. It’s obvious Nigerians doesn’t want to hear anything about APC anymore because to them we have failed them as a party. PDP’s name even sound somehow accepted to them this days than for you to mention the name APC to their hearing.

“Labour Party obviously has taken over the Nigerian political terrain, and if we don’t get it right, our political party symbol is broom, watch how this young energetic youths will use those brooms and sweep us off from this country.”
