Peter Obi the presidential candidate of Labour Party on Monday May 1st 2023 appeared on a National television Arise TV where he granted interview to clear some alledged propagandas targeted at his person and his ambition.

There has been rumours, Alligations, and alledged propagandas against Peter Obi the latest of which was the trending photos that he he visited the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the defence house in Abuja.

Also Peter Obi cleared the air on the alleged arrested and detention at the UK airport where he was alledgedly accused of his visa being duplicated by an unknown person.

1- ON BEING DETAINED IN UK
Peter Obi- I was never detained, I was stopped for a routine immigration check in the UK because it appears that my identity was duplicated by someone.
NEVER arrested. I was treated with due respect and walked through the VIP process. Everything lasted less than 20 minutes.

2- ON LIA MOHAMMAD
Peter Obi – They said, “I committed a treason in Nigeria, I am in Onitsha, and my minister went to Washington to announce treason against me.”
This is the rascality we are talking about. The amount he wasted could have been used to build a block of 6 classrooms in his village. It is a waste.

Peter Obi – I was very sad that there was such an exchange. Some of the people mentioned are not entirely people who are with us. Peter Obi- I am not a religious or tribal bigot in fact since 1999 till date I am the only non-Muslim former governor who has sent more Muslims and Christians to pilgrimage. They even said I asked Northerners to put on ID cards and even demolished mosques but we saw during the Sallah when the Muslim community in Onitsha and Awka said I was the one that rebuilt their mosque that was destroyed by a former governor.
